The Horticultural Society Spring Gala 2014: Great Gardens

My tablescape takes inspiration from the lush gardens of the Caribbean......so why not put Bird of Paradise in a birdcage.

Design on a Dime 2014

Thank you so much to the vendors who donated to my vignette, #GlamBaby, for Design on a Dime.   Restoration Hardware B&C, FZ Collections, John Lyle, Lebeours Antiques, Bungalo 5 and many more.  Together we raised more than 1.1 million dollars.  The funds will build  Housing Works' newest housing development, the Hull St Residence, a creative, safe, and beautiful homes for nearly 30 former homeless HIV+ positive New Yorkers.

ARF of the Hamptons

I got a chance to preview my room for the showhouse sponsored by ARF of the Hamptons.  The room is a spectacular structure that will house my, All About Eve themed room.   This is going to be epic....stay tuned!

Lenox Hill Spring Gala 2014

The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House hosted,  A Spring Affair, the annual gala benefit at Cipriani 42nd Street on Wednesday, April 9. The evening will featured 50 tables—each decorated by a different, renowned designer—and honored Thomas J. Edelman, the long-time Neighborhood House Board President.

This year’s design chairs include Veranda magazine's  Editor-in-ChiefClinton Smith, VERANDA magazine's Design and Decoration EditorCarolyn Englefield, antiques dealer David Duncan, interior designerLindsey Coral Harper and ceramic artist Christopher Spitzmiller.

My table was entitled, Cherry Blossom Jubilee, an ode to an Asian spring.
